About Aurora Gemstones

Aurora Gemstones - named after the captivating northern lights, was founded in August 2008 by Sian L Williamson
Completely self taught, Sian creates jewellery using traditional smithing methods from metal sheet and wire. Sian is particularly proud of her highly sought after rice writing skills

In March 2011 a life time friend of Sians, Simon Lidwell from Wordsmithcrafts joined the website to showcase his skills in blacksmithing, custom Celtic artwork, leather work and Viking style jewellery

In Feb 2012 Sian won a high profile design competition for a Steampunk creation, has gone on to win many design competitions since and commissioned to write a few blog articles for a well known bullion company

In Nov 2014 Sian was commissioned by Wired Productions to promote their new game release, Tiny Troopers Joint Ops

In March 2016 Sian was commissioned by Magnum Media for their TV production, full details are still secret at this time until the program has been released

Both Sian and Simon are fully insured and assay assured by edinburgh assay office for hallmarking. Their skills with metal can be seen throughout this website
